SAILOR’S DELIGHT (4 hours)
Our motto is “step aboard, take the wheel”, and we encourage our guests to do just that.
In four hours we will sail about 16 to 25 miles, and that is easy to do, because Banderas Bay, almost always, has wind. During your cruise, you will be served a light lunch, an appetizer, a scrumptious dessert, and, of course, your choice of beverages, If helping to sail the boat doesn’t appeal to you, then, just sit back relax, and let your crew pull the strings. If you have never sailed on a sixty foot sailboat, here’s your opportunity. Enjoy your wonderful afternoon on a fantastic 60’ ocean racing ketch!
Price $600.00 USD (up to 7 persons)
SAIL/SNORKELING CRUISE (6 hours)
This cruise allows you the time to go snorkeling, if you desire. Brier Patch sails along Puerto Vallarta’s Malecon and down the coast to Los Arcos where you can snorkel and see a wide variety of tropical sea life, from to Angel Fish to Sea Turtles. We provide snorkeling gear for up to 6 people at a time. If you have your own gear, you are welcome to bring it along and use it. Following your refreshing swim, the wind should be up and we’re off sailing across the bay to La Cruz de Huanacaxtle. During this cruise you will be served a continental breakfast, or a light lunch, an appetizer, and a delectable dessert with beverages of your choice.
Price $800.00 USD (up to 7 persons) *
A Taste of the “Cruising Life” (8 hours)
We begin by sailing down the southern shore toward Yalapa, enjoying the panoramic view of the rugged mountain terrain covered with a lush tropical jungle. Tucked along this shore, and into the foliage, are many small villages accessible only by donkey or boat. You may want to stop at Las Animas beach, or journey further along the shore to Yalapa where you can hike back to the waterfall and explore the quaint village (remember – no cars).
A local guide can be found for a short tour. These villages have small restaurants located on the sandy beaches, where you may want to eat lunch, enjoying delicious authentic Mexican food. If going ashore doesn’t appeal to you, and the wind is up, we can sail out toward the Marietas Islands where you can observe the abundant sea life of the bay….anything from humpback whales, giant manta rays, and giant sea turtles, porpoises, boobies, pelicans, and even butterflies and honey bees. The return sail back to port can be exciting, as the wind along the north shore, sometimes, becomes a little boisterous.
Price $1000.00 USD (up to 7 persons) *
* For over 7 people, add $10.00 per person. Maximum Capacity is 15 persons
